My father has had a baby blue ‘79 (regular cab) since I was about 10. It’s got the 300 I-6 and a 4-speed. It’s a fantastic truck.

I love these super cabs too. Finding a Super Cab in general is getting tough, trying to find a Super Cab short bed is nearly impossible.

I had an opportunity to buy a 71 Ranger 4x4all original with the 360ci and four speed. It however was too rough and cleaner versions aren’t that expensive. It just didn’t pencil out to make sense.

They’re not as pretty. And easier to justify an LS swap in a Chevy than a ford.
